Al bijna een eeuw(!) is Den Draaiboom een begrip in Lier en omstreken. Sinds Mel Kalot in 1921 besloot om een afspanning te beginnen aan de oevers van de Nete is Den Draaiboom ideaal om je honger te stillen, dorst te lessen, en te baden in authentieke Kempische gezelligheid.
